Thanks, Elenah. It really is as you say - a lovely place to stay. I have roamed the southeast for more than twenty years, and though here for little more than three - with the passing of every day THIS place feels more comfortable and comforting, and more and more like home. |

Thank you, Max. Well, this is a somewhat regular winter event. Every few years we receive more than 12-inches of snow at once. Of course I enjoy winter without so many snowy reminders as we have had this season, but when they do come I accept them for what they are and what the season is. Each season has its supply of natural beauty and wonders. I'd rather have snow than an earthquake! |

Thanks for sharing. I especially like the forest in the background. I was walking home on that evening. Some subway lines were not functioning at all. The train had to stop so many times the ride took one hour longer. Many buses were not running. Don't remember anything like this. Tropical heat in the summer and this Siberian snow storm in winter.
